Here's How Your Implant Treatment Works
-
Day 1 - Full evaluation and candidacy assessment. We review your case, take digital scans and X-rays, and confirm you're a strong candidate for implant placement. Your surgical guide is prepared same day.
Day 2 or 3 - Implant surgery. The titanium post is placed in approximately 40 minutes by your specialist. Precise, efficient, and designed around your comfort.
-
Months 1 - 6 Your implant integrates naturally with your jawbone — a biological process that cannot be rushed. This is what gives your implant its permanence and strength. Your home dentist can monitor progress during this time, and we're always available if you have questions.
-
Month 6 - You return to CalaDent for your final crown placement. This is the visible tooth custom-made to match your natural smile. Your restoration is now complete.
“We believe in being upfront about the process because a successful implant is one done right, not one done fast.”
⚠️ Skipping or shortening the healing phase compromises the implant's integration and long-term success. We don't take shortcuts and neither should any clinic you trust with your health.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why do I need to come back after 6 months?
1
The implant post needs time to fuse with your jawbone; a natural biological process called osseointegration. This is what makes your implant permanent and reliable. Rushing this phase increases failure risk significantly. We're transparent about this from day one because your long-term result matters more than a quick turnaround.
Q: What happens between my two visits?
2
After surgery, most patients return home comfortably within a day or two. We provide full post-op instructions in English, and you can reach us directly if anything comes up. Your home dentist can monitor healing during the 6-month period. We coordinate with them if needed.
Q: Is it safe to get dental implants in Mexico?
3
At CalaDent, your treatment follows the same clinical protocols used in the United States. Our specialists are trained to international standards and use the same implant systems and digital technology found in top U.S. clinics, all under one roof.
Q: How long do I need to stay in Los Cabos for my first visit?
4
Plan for approximately 4 to 5 days for your first phase evaluation, scanning, and implant surgery. We work around your travel schedule from the moment you contact us.
Not at all. Our team communicates in English throughout your entire experience; from your first message to your final appointment.
Q: Do I need to speak Spanish?
5
Send us your information and we'll get back to you within 24 hours, in English, in writing, with no pressure.
